Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Recurcite ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Recurcite provides dispute and chargeback automation tools for subscription SaaS merchants using Stripe Billing. The Service includes: evidence packet assembly, dispute submission to Stripe, analytics, an optional rules engine for automated dispute handling, and related SDK tools.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Stripe Connection

The Service requires you to connect your Stripe account via OAuth. By connecting, you authorize us to access Stripe data necessary for dispute management, including dispute objects, charges, payment intents, invoices, subscriptions, and customer records. We access only data within the scopes you authorize and only for your connected account.

5. Merchant Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of evidence data you provide via our SDK, including consent records, usage events, and cancellation flows.
  • You must ensure you have appropriate consent from your customers to share data with third-party services for dispute management.
  • You are responsible for reviewing evidence bundles before submission (in Assist mode) or configuring rules appropriately (in Autopilot mode).
  • Recurcite does not guarantee the outcome of any dispute. Evidence quality affects win rates, but dispute decisions are made by card networks and issuing banks.

6. Pricing and Payment

Recurcite offers four plan tiers. All fees are billed through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for applicable fees.

  • Free Install: No monthly fee, no success fee. Includes core dispute management features (inbox, evidence health, bundle + PDF generation, assist-mode submission).
  • Recover: No monthly fee. A success fee of 15% is charged on the recovered amount for disputes won through the Service.
  • Pro: $499/month subscription fee plus a 10% success fee on recovered amounts. Includes 300 dispute processing credits per month, autopilot mode, Slack/email alerts, and AI narratives. Overage disputes beyond the monthly credit allotment are billed at $1 per dispute.
  • Scale: $1,499/month subscription fee plus a 7% success fee on recovered amounts. Includes 1,500 dispute processing credits per month and all Pro features plus proof discount eligibility. Overage disputes are billed at $0.50 per dispute.

"Recovered amount" is defined as the dispute amount when Stripe confirms the dispute was won and funds are reinstated. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' written notice.

7. No Guarantee of Outcomes

We provide tools to improve your dispute win rate, but we do not guarantee any specific outcome. Dispute decisions are made by card networks and issuing banks, not by Recurcite. Historical win rates are not predictive of future results.

8. Data and Security

We implement reasonable security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, multi-tenant data isolation, and access controls. See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection, use, and retention.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recurcite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, we will cease accessing your Stripe account. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy. Any fees accrued before termination remain payable.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may terminate your account.
